About Me

Hi, I’m Ronda — the owner and designer behind The Velvet Stem Decor. I’m a wreath maker, floral designer, and long‑time creator based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. My love for crafting began years ago when I started making wreaths just for fun. A few close friends saw something special in my work and encouraged me to turn my passion into a business — and I’m so grateful they did.

My Journey

Before launching The Velvet Stem Decor, I owned an online girls’ boutique, so building beautiful things and sharing them with others has always been part of my story. What began as a hobby has grown into a full boutique where I get to create pieces that bring warmth, personality, and seasonal charm into people’s homes.

Who I Am

I’m a wife, a mom of five (three girls and two boys), and now an empty nester — though our home is still full of love thanks to our three rescue pugs. Family, creativity, and community are at the heart of everything I do.

My Craft

I’m extremely detail‑oriented, and I believe the little things matter. Every wreath, floral arrangement, and décor piece is made with intention. I treat each product as if it were going into my own home — because quality, care, and craftsmanship are the foundation of my boutique.
